NOTES ON MIXING:
- For accurate mixing, use scales to weigh powder
- Always use fresh potable water for mixing milk replacer solution
- Add powder to water (38°- 45°c) using wire whisk to mix thoroughly
- Mix only enough for one feeding at a time
- Wash rinse and sanitize utensils thoroughly after every feeding

*NOTES:
- If possible, leave the piglets with the sow for a minimum of 1 – 3 days after birth to obtain the benefits of colostrum-containing milk.
- When hand feeding by bottle or trough, offer fresh, high quality creep feed and water daily starting at 10 days of age.
- If piglets develop nutritional scours, reduce the amount of milk replacer powder in the solution by 25 – 50% for 1 to 2 days and provide electrolytes. Gradually return to full feeding levels.
